National Anthem Contest

The Edmonds Chamber of Commerce is proud to announce a new contest to find the next singer of the Star-Spangled Banner at the 4th of July fireworks.

Every year over 10,000 gather to watch fireworks in downtown Edmonds.  This year we are holding a contest to find the singer of the National Anthem.  This contest is open to all ages and the residents of Edmonds, Lynnwood, Woodway and Mountlake Terrace.

Contestants will complete an application and upload a video signing the Star-Spangled Banner.  A panel of professional judges will select our winner and announce at the end of May.  The winner will be interviewed by My Edmonds News, ride in the 4th of July parade and sing the Star-Spangled Banner at the fireworks show.

National Anthem Contest:

• Open to all ages
• Edmonds, Lynnwood, Woodway, Brier and Mountlake Terrace residents
• Application deadline is March 15, 2017
• Video submissions must be received by April 30, 2017 (an upload link will be provided)
• Parent signature for anyone under 18
• Online applications only
