The Rotary Club of Edmonds Daybreakers is proud to sponsor the 19th annual Edmonds Jazz Connection Festival in downtown Edmonds, featuring student groups from middle and high schools from around Puget Sound, including Edmonds, Lynnwood, Mountlake Terrace, Shoreline, Arlington, Lake Stevens and Everett as well as Edmonds Community College, performing both contemporary and traditional jazz music.
The big bands will be at Edmonds Center for the Arts from 9 am to 6 pm. Featured this year is a workshop/clinic held by the Clarinetist-saxophonist Anat Cohen Tenet from 10:30 to 11:30 am.
Choirs will be at North Sound Center from 10 am to 3:25 pm
Combos will be at the Edmonds Theater from 9 am to 4 pm
Admission to all performances at all venues is open to the public. While admission is free, your donations are welcome to help the Daybreakers in supporting the club’s local youth programs, which include scholarships for graduating high school seniors and support for school music programs.
