8th Annual Edmonds 5K Fun Run/Walk
What better way to start a day full of hot dogs, apple pie and ice cream than with a little exercise and the chance to run down the Edmonds Fourth of July Parade route? Sponsored by the Edmonds Chamber of Commerce, the Edmonds 4th of July 5K Fun Run/Walk winds through the heart of historic downtown Edmonds. Attracting over 500 runners, the 5K is the perfect athletic kickoff to a full day of “An Edmonds Kind of 4th” excitement.
Note: BY SUBMITTING ENTRIES ONLINE YOU ARE AGREEING TO THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS SET FORTH BELOW AND WILL SERVE AS A VALID SIGNATURE.
A SEPARATE FORM MUST BE COMPLETED AND SIGNED FOR EACH PERSON PARTICIPATING IN THIS EVENT, AND SUCH SIGNATURE IS AN ACKNOWLEDGEMENT, CERTIFICATION AND AGREEMENT OF THE PARTICIPANT TO THE
FOLLOWING: Participant grants to all entities or persons involved in this activity the right to create, use, reproduce and publish Participant’s name and likeness in any media. Participant accepts sole responsibility to determine whether Participant’s medical and training status is appropriate for this activity. In the event of accident or injury resulting in Participant being unable to immediately arrange or provide necessary medical attention, the Greater Edmonds Chamber of Commerce is authorized but not required to cause medical service to be provided and any medical service provider is hereby authorized to provide personal identification and medical information on request. Participant hereby waives, releases and discharges any claims or demands and covenants not to sue the Chamber and its affiliates, agents, representatives, employees or officers for any harm, loss, injury or death arising out of or relating to Participant’s participation in this activity and makes such statement for and on behalf of all those claiming or who could claim by, through, or under Participant, including without limitation Participant’s heirs and executors. Participant agrees to and shall defend, indemnify and hold harmless An Edmonds Kind of 4th, the Edmonds Chamber of Commerce, Swedish/Edmonds, Sound Women’s Care and the City of Edmonds from all claims, actions, damages, liability and expense arising out of or resulting from participation by Participant in this activity.
