Event Description:
The Edmonds Chamber is helping to bring Jennifer Shelton with the SBDC to Edmonds once per month, in order to meet with business owners and provide FREE business resources, research and advice. There are only four (4) appointments available so be sure to reserve your place early.
About the SBDC:
The Washington Small Business Development Center (WSBDC) is a network of business advisors, trainers, and support staff who operate from Washington State University, Western Washington University, several of the state’s community and technical colleges, and selected economic development agencies.
Our core services revolve around assisting our clients with making better informed business decisions to grow and sustain their businesses. We provide in-depth, confidential, no cost customized one-on one business advising, business training and advisor assisted market intelligence.

About Jennifer Shelton:
Jennifer Shelton is a Certified Business Advisor with the Washington Small Business Development Center Organization (WSBDC). As a Certified Business Advisor, Jennifer provides no-cost, confidential, objective advising to clients in any industry or stage of business. She brings over 20 years business development and small business experience including starting and managing a retail coffee house.
Jennifer has worked with WSBDC for 15 years and advised hundreds of business owners. She provides customized one-on-one assistance in areas such as increasing sales, obtaining financing, business purchase or sale, cash flow forecasting, marketing strategy, written business plans, analyzing financial statements, profitability, business expansions, general problem solving, and other topics driven by the client's needs.
Jennifer has worked with WSBDC for 15 years and advised hundreds of business owners. Jennifer holds an MBA from Western Washington University and a BA of Communications from Seattle Pacific University. She also has additional certification in Sales & Marketing and Professional Coaching.
While directing the operations of the SBDC serving SW King County she was awarded ‘Outstanding Business at Large’ for 2003 by the SW King County Chamber. She also worked as a consultant for "Washington's SBA Business of the Year 2002”. In 2011 she was named Washington “State Star”.
Jennifer is passionate about supporting entrepreneurial spirit and empowering business owners by providing access to the information & tools they need to create and sustain successful business ventures.
