Join former Washington State Poet Laureate Elizabeth Austen for a reading of new poems and a conversation about the writing process.
Austen is the author of the collection Every Dress a Decision and two chapbooks. As the poet laureate for 2014-16, she visited all 39 of the state’s counties, giving readings and teaching workshops. She produces poetry programming for NPR-affliate KUOW, and offers poetry and reflective writing for staff and physicians at Seattle Children’s Hospital.
