Patrice Hardy has over 20 years of experience in the field of Government and Community relations. She joined the Sound Transit team in February 1997 to head up the State Government Relations program. In this role she was responsible for developing partnerships and building awareness for Sound Transit with state legislators. After 4 years developing the State program, Patrice launched the local government affairs division, which was responsible for providing information and awareness of Sound Transit projects through the three county region including 52 cities. Currently her work is focused on all cities north of Seattle up to and including Everett as well as the chambers, rotaries and neighborhood groups.
Prior to joining Sound Transit, Patrice was the Director of Government Affairs for King County, which included state and federal issues for all 13 departments, the state relations officer for Metro, and a federal legislative aide for Congressman Edward Boland, of Massachusetts.
She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from the University of Washington
