Event Description:
This year's 4th of July festivities will be the best yet. The 2016 Beat Brackett 5K drew record crowds as runners raced to "Beat Brackett". Runners will again chase Brackett to the finish line and try to "Beat ol' man Brackett".

The 2017 Beat Brackett 5K
What better way to start a day full of hot dogs, apple pie and ice cream than with a little exercise and the chance to run down the Edmonds Fourth of July Parade route? Sponsored by the Edmonds Chamber of Commerce, the Edmonds 4th of July 5K winds through the heart of historic downtown Edmonds. Attracting over 600 runners, the 5K is the perfect athletic kickoff to a full day of An Edmonds Kind of 4th excitement.
NEW THIS YEAR.... the Baby Brackett 1K. This race is perfect for families with small children who can't go the full 5K distance. Sign up for the "Baby Brackett 1K" for only $15 (per family of 4).

In the event of accident or injury resulting in Participant being unable to immediately arrange or provide necessary medical attention, the Greater Edmonds Chamber of Commerce is authorized but not required to cause medical service to be provided and any medical service provider is hereby authorized to provide personal identification and medical information on request.
